Tony started working with his dad in 1986 and spent many years manufacturing custom orthotics and fitting specialty footwear. In 1997 with his wife Kelli, they purchased the store, first naming it Grady’s Shoe Tree then to Grady’s Feet Essentials.
Tony enjoys volunteering and has helped out at the warming room, Kawartha Food Share, Hospice and has even strolled George street in red high heel shoes in support of the YWCA Walk A Mile campaign. He is past chair of the DBIA and has also mentored youth in business through the Junior Achievement program.
Also a musician, you may have seen Tony perform as Elvis in support of Cystic Fibrosis Research at the Trentwinds, or in past years as choir director of St. Martin’s and St. Anne’s churches in Peterborough. Lately Tony performs with the Indian River Band alongside his brother, father and other band members.
