Tony Grady

Tony Grady

Tony started working with his dad in 1986 and spent many years manufacturing custom orthotics and fitting specialty footwear. In 1997 with his wife Kelli, they purchased the store, first naming it Grady’s Shoe Tree then to Grady’s Feet Essentials.

Tony enjoys volunteering and has helped out at the warming room, Kawartha Food Share, Hospice and has even strolled George street in red high heel shoes in support of the YWCA Walk A Mile campaign. He is past chair of the DBIA and has also mentored youth in business through the Junior Achievement program.

Also a musician, you may have seen Tony perform as Elvis in support of Cystic Fibrosis Research at the Trentwinds, or in past years as choir director of St. Martin’s and St. Anne’s churches in Peterborough. Lately Tony performs with the Indian River Band alongside his brother, father and other band members.

Kelli Grady

Kelli Grady

After growing up in the Cobourg area, Kelli moved to Peterborough in Grade 12. Within a year she met Tony Grady and the rest, as they say, is history. They were married in 1993 and have two daughters.

After helping out in the Grady’s shoe store off and on over the years, she permanently joined the team in 1999. She is often found ‘behind the scenes’ as she is in charge of the computerized inventory system, ordering items and social media. She absolutely loves it when customers send photos of themselves wearing Grady’s footwear on their travels around the world – keep them coming!

Kelli has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Education degree from Trent University. She enjoys running a monthly book club and traveling to new places.

Shelley McNamara

Shelley has always enjoyed working with the public since early years as an RPN at the RMH in Lindsay. As her children grew older she became a Certified Fitter of bracing, mastectomy and compression garments while working in retail in the medical equipment field. She spent the last thirteen years as an outside Mobility Equipment Consultant covering the Lindsay and Peterborough areas which she thoroughly loved before retiring from this role recently at Motion Peterborough.

Shelley enjoys painting, biking, reading and having a laugh with family and friends as often as possible! She is very happy to be able to work with the public again while joining the Grady’s team and so glad to have met so many great customers already!

Tracy Annis

Tracy joined the Grady’s team in July 2015, bringing with her many years of customer service experience. She has a passion for helping people which is obvious in the kind and compassionate way she assists our customers.

In her spare time, Tracy likes taking care of her many house plants and loves to spend time outdoors in the garden.

Theresa Thibadeau

Theresa Thibadeau

After working for Grady’s from 2003-2005, Theresa returned in 2016 to share her years of experience working in customer service with us. Whether it’s with shoes, jewelry, bedding or doing your taxes, she realized that working with people and helping them make the right choices, is what she enjoys the most. We’re happy to have Theresa back with our team here at Grady’s!

Theresa is one of our most adventurous staff members. When she isn’t working, she enjoys cycling around Peterborough and surrounding area, no matter the weather or time of year. Some of her many adventures include white water rafting, the Edge walk at the CN Tower, completing her Scuba certification in Jamaica, as well as zip lining and skydiving! She’s also the proud owner of two guinea pigs named Thor and Loki.

Catherine Mullin

Catherine Mullin

Catherine has worked in the customer service field her entire life. She started in the operations side of banking followed by the disputes, fraud and anti money laundering departments.  Afterwards she went to work at LHSC in London drawn again to serving customers and employees of the hospital.  During her time there she also worked at Rocky’s Harley Davidson in London.

Catherine was lucky to spend about a year and a half in Abbotsford BC working with her daughter on her organic farm.  She loved working outside the majority of the time and learned so much. In June of 2018 she then moved to Peterborough. This brought her closer to her son and his family, and the opportunity to meld two of her loves: customer service and great shoes!
